Original studio concept

Field Notes for Slow Days

Design by Publishing Core Studio

Original studio concept — not a published client title.

A cover shaped by small observations.

The title and cover are a studio design exercise, not a client manuscript or publication record.

Discuss Your Cover

Original studio brief

The idea behind the cover.

An original visual study for reflective nature writing. A botanical silhouette, a measured grid and generous spacing explore the feeling of a notebook carried on an unhurried walk.

A closer look

The thinking
in the artwork.

A hand-drawn vector stem runs through a pale circular window. Uneven leaf shapes keep the composition organic, while the fine ruled frame gives it the character of a field notebook. Olive, cream and muted blue offer a different register from the darker fiction concepts.
