Website information
Privacy Policy
How Publishing Core handles the information you share when you ask about your book.
Last updated October 25, 2026
Why we use it
We use your details to answer your questions, understand your project, prepare a quote and follow up on the publishing support you requested. We keep inquiry and conversation records so our team can continue that discussion and avoid asking you to repeat it.
To limit automated submissions, we temporarily keep keyed, non-reversible network identifiers and attempt counts rather than raw IP addresses in the submission-limit table.
We also use limited session information to operate forms and chat, prevent repeated or abusive submissions and understand which campaign brought an inquiry to us. Contact permission on these forms relates to your publishing inquiry; it is not a subscription to an unrelated marketing list.
Where data protection law requires a lawful basis, the relevant basis depends on the activity: your permission to contact you, steps you ask us to take before a project agreement, and our interest in operating and protecting this website. You can ask us to stop optional follow-up at any time.
Campaign information and browser storage
A link from an advert or social post may contain campaign labels or click identifiers, such as UTM parameters, gclid or fbclid. We keep a limited set of these values with your session and any inquiry or chat you submit. We do not send your name, email address, phone number or message text to an advertising platform through the website's form event hooks.
By default, this website does not load Google Analytics or Meta advertising pixels. If optional measurement tools are configured, Cookie Settings lets you choose analytics, advertising and call tracking before their scripts load. Browser cookies and session storage also support form security, conversation access and remembering whether you have dismissed a greeting or offer. Our Cookie Policy explains these choices.
Who can access information
Authorized Publishing Core staff can access inquiries and chat records to respond to you. Service providers involved in website hosting, technical support or email delivery may process information needed to provide those services. We may also disclose information when required by applicable law or to address misuse of the website. We do not sell inquiry details.
If tawk.to is enabled, its chat widget can open automatically shortly after you arrive on a service page, connecting your browser to that provider. Information you enter in the widget, along with technical information about the visit, is processed through tawk.to so our representatives can handle the conversation. The provider's own privacy information also applies. You can close the widget and use our contact form instead.
If CallRail is configured and you allow call tracking, its script can connect a displayed tracking number and website visit with a marketing source. Calls placed to a tracking number are handled by the phone provider even when you decline browser call tracking. Any call recording or transcription must be disclosed when enabled; this website does not enable those features itself.
When the call-reporting connection is enabled, CallRail can send a completed-call summary to our website database. This includes the caller and tracking numbers, call time, duration, whether it was answered and available campaign labels. Our website stores these summaries for follow-up and reporting; it does not copy recordings or transcripts through that connection.
Storage, retention and security
Inquiry and local chat records are stored in the website database. When email notifications are configured, new inquiry and local chat contact information is also sent to our designated business inbox. Optional advertising, chat and call-tracking services keep their own records separately. Providers may process information in the countries where they operate; ask us for the current providers and arrangements relevant to your inquiry.
We keep information while an inquiry or project is active and, where needed, to maintain project records, resolve a dispute or meet an applicable legal requirement. Retention depends on the purpose of the record and those requirements. Records are not automatically deleted when a chat window or browser tab is closed.
Staff access is restricted. We use reasonable technical measures to protect the website, but no website or transmission method can promise absolute security.
Your choices and requests
You can ask what inquiry or conversation information we hold about you, request a correction or deletion, or ask us to stop optional contact. Other rights, including access, restriction, objection or portability, may apply under the law where you live. Some records may need to be retained for an existing project or legal reason.
Use our Contact Us page and describe your request. Include enough information for us to identify the relevant inquiry without sending sensitive documents. We may need to verify that the request relates to your information. You can also raise a concern with the data protection authority relevant to you.
Children and changes to this policy
Our consultation service is intended for adults arranging publishing work. A parent or guardian should contact us on behalf of a minor. If a child has submitted personal information without appropriate permission, please contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.
We will update this page when our website practices change. The date on this page identifies the latest revision.
