Original studio concept

After the Last Tram

Design by Publishing Core Studio

Original studio concept — not a published client title.

One bright route through a sleeping city.

The title and cover are a studio design exercise, not a client manuscript or publication record.

Discuss Your Cover

Original studio brief

The idea behind the cover.

A fictional title created to explore an urban literary cover. The brief is to suggest the intimacy of a late journey through a city using abstract architecture and a single illuminated route.

A closer look

The thinking
in the artwork.

The narrow terracotta route cuts through dark, flat architectural shapes. An oversized cream title occupies the open sky, balancing atmosphere with the need to remain readable at a small size. The shapes are original vector drawings rather than a photograph of an identifiable place.
