Original studio concept

The Little Boat That Waited

Design by Publishing Core Studio

Original studio concept — not a published client title.

A small shape in a world of possibility.

The title and cover are a studio design exercise, not a client manuscript or publication record.

Original studio brief

The idea behind the cover.

A picture-book cover exercise with a title invented for this studio collection. The visual brief pairs a small paper boat with an expansive night sky to explore scale, warmth and curiosity for younger readers.

A closer look

The thinking
in the artwork.

A bright folded boat rests between broad, cut-paper waves. The moon and a small bird create a simple visual conversation, with the large cream lettering following the generous curve of the sky. All illustration is original vector artwork for this demonstration.
