Original studio concept

A Table for Tomorrow

Design by Publishing Core Studio

Original studio concept — not a published client title.

A familiar object, seen a little differently.

The title and cover are a studio design exercise, not a client manuscript or publication record.

Discuss Your Cover

Original studio brief

The idea behind the cover.

A studio composition exploring how an everyday domestic object can carry the visual identity of a contemporary fiction cover. The title and scene are a design exercise, not a description of a client manuscript.

A closer look

The thinking
in the artwork.

The circular tabletop is drawn as an off-centre oval, with two curved chairs and a single glass. Flat clay, rose and parchment shapes leave the arrangement open to interpretation. A small italic line breaks the otherwise firm serif title hierarchy.
