An original cover brief for a collection of imagined travel essays. The composition explores maps as a graphic language, without reproducing a real map, route, place name or publisher identity.

An uninterrupted gold path crosses a cobalt grid and curls around a paper-coloured shape. The clean spacing of the title echoes the precision of a map legend. The small registration lines are compositional marks for this study, not geographic data.
